Rollins Campus for Young Adults

Located at the main campus on North Druid Hills Road in Atlanta, GA, and situated on the site of an existing apartment complex, the 27,000 sf Rollins Campus for Young Adults is a specialized treatment facility for adults aged 18 to 25. The facility provides 32 private bedrooms & bathrooms, a family room, client lounge, gym, and outdoor dining terrace. Each residential floor includes a media and game room, and a unique courtyard provides opportunities to participate in outdoor games, yoga, or simply read and enjoy nature.

The Rollins Campus mirrors the holistic treatment philosophy of the main campus, but is designed and operated to meet the unique needs of young adults. The campus provides space for relevant social and therapeutic activities that encourages young adults to fully engage in treatment and begin to prepare for life after their treatment at Skyland Trail.

Also included within the three-year building program is the development and renovation of a comprehensive Primary Care Clinic and Admissions Office within the Dorothy C. Fuqua Center. Clients are assessed by a multitude of specialists in medicine, neuropsychology, behavioral medicine and psychopharmacology to receive accurate diagnoses and recommendations for treatment.

Established in 1982 under the leadership of Charles B. West, Skyland Trail has earned the reputation as a national leader in the treatment of adults ages 18 and older with mood and thought disorders, including bipolar illness, major depression, schizophrenia, and anxiety disorders. The organization specializes in the treating of patients who have complex diagnoses involving substance misuse or personality disorders and those who have physical health needs in addition to psychiatric needs.

Skyland Trail is a private, not-for profit organization offering the most current and effective treatment options to adults with mental illness such as Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Depression, and Dual Diagnosis.
