Cathedral of Christ the King

Hyland Center

This new 52,000 square foot building replaces the original Hyland Center built in 1952. The opening marks a defining moment in the eighty-two year history of the Cathedral of Christ the King community.

The new building will serve both the Cathedral parish and the Christ the King School communities. Features of this new building are a regulation size gymnasium with a stage, assembly room, eight flexible classrooms, and two distinctive science labs, along with an expansive art room, acoustical music room, and broadcast studio.

As the Roman Catholic Cathedral for the City of Atlanta, we strive to know, love, and serve as Jesus did.

At present, the parish is one of the ten largest in the United States with over 5,500 registered families who are deeply involved in the over 100 Ministries in service at the Cathedral.
