Kennesaw State University

University Place Expansion

University Place II is a 451 bed, 207,500-square foot facility that will serve as a luxury residential complex for KSU upperclassmen. Each 1,282-square-foot apartment includes four-bedrooms, four-bathrooms, a full kitchen, laundry facilities, living room and Wi-Fi connectivity. Incorporating the latest in building management systems technology, this project will allow remote management and monitoring of resident utility usage. The new four-story structures also will be equipped with elevators.

The six-acre, garden-style complex will consist of three residential buildings, a large multipurpose room and an outdoor amphitheater. It also features ample parking and green space as well as a promenade connecting the south residential quadrant to the core of campus. It is scheduled to open in August 2012, which coincides with the 10th anniversary of the university’s first residential complex. When complete, Kennesaw State University will accommodate approximately 3,500 students in on-campus housing.
